Ingredients
  • 2 cups almond flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 tsp cardamom
  • ½ tsp allspice
  • ¼ tsp ground cloves
  • ⅛ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp kosher salt
  • 5 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • ½ tsp pure vanilla extract
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Line baking sheet.
  2. Whisk together dry ingredients. Add in wet ingredients, and mix to combine. Dough will be slightly wet and crumbly, but sticks together well.
  3. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough on baking sheet. Flatten slightly. (The cookies don't spread, so don't worry about leaving enough space in between each one.)
  4. Bake for 15-17 minutes, until golden around the edges and barely yield when gently pressed down.
  5. Cool on pan for 5-10 minutes. Store in an airtight container.
